I already had Samsung TV products so was familiar with the Tizen operating system and remote controller; so that was a good start. The TV ‘booted up’ quickly but there was a slight glitch getting the apps to load. There seemed to be an issue with the Wi-Fi connection even though the router was just outside the room in the hallway, so I used a booster and all was well. There was one further hiccup when the TV advised that it no longer supported the BBC iPlayer! Sure enough I couldn’t load the app but before I could report the issue the TV appeared to update and the iPlayer was running again. The picture quality is as expected and perfectly adequate for this size of screen (I didn’t want a huge screen where it is positioned). As to the longevity of the TV, only time will tell but I feel that the quality of the unit justifies the five star rating. This a good looking telly with the bonus of being made in Britain! One note of caution relates to the pitch perfect audio enclosure that was advertised but appears to be no longer included with this version, as the feature icon was blanked over on the delivery packaging. That said, the sounds is adequate for my purposes.
