Though I dig the ultralight part for long-haul backpacking excursions, I have an extreme dislike of plastic anything. This teapot is slightly heavier but is ALL stainless steel including the lid and appears to have an opening large enough to stow a fuel canister (much like the msr pika). It comes in a nice little mesh bag and has measurements stamped into the metal on the side. The top line for filling purposes is 200ml (.6 L). I expect the handle and pot top will get very hot when placed over heat but as is the case with any metal cook wear, exercise caution and don’t grab barehanded. At $10 cheaper than the MSR teapot, if you’re not an ounce-counter, this is a really nice pot and will serve you well. It will boil plenty of water to rehydrate a meal and tea/coffee for two.
