Review: Excellent little set - I purchased this set to go along with my new combi drill. I'll admit to being a bit of a DIY novice and didn't want to purchase another massive set of bits, that I'd probably never use. This 35 piece seemed to fit the bill. A couple of the drill bits have already been given a bit of a test run. They've been used for wood, plasterboard and brick. Each time they've breezed through the job. The screwdriver bits have probably been used even more. They seem solid. Some of the outer coating has come away a little bit, but aside from this, they appear undamaged and still nicely fit the corresponding screw heads. My old drill bit set has the more tradition/old-fashioned smooth end, to fit into your drill, which can slip and doesn't always feel very secure. With these hex-ended bits, they sit secure in my drill and give you confidence that they aren't going anywhere. In my opnion, the only small negative is the price. I looked at other, larger sets for cheaper. Yes, these may be higher quality, but I'd say £25 - £30 would be a better price for them. The product box is a great size, with a good variety of bits.
