It’s so well made and soft and thick (though also firm at the same time!) I keep it on an area that is hardwood flooring and my baby can roll around without me fearing he will “bonk” his head on the hard floor. The mat is soft and thick enough that I don’t worry about the hard floor beneath. I just ordered a second mat for another area of the house, as I love the mat so much. It’s aesthetically beautiful as well, which is a bonus :)
