Review: Great mic for the price - Behringer have made a remarkable bit of kit for the price and based on what you might expect for £8.50, this deserves 5 stars. I expected it to arrive in bubble wrap with a plastic pouch, but it came in a carry box (see pic) worthy of a studio mic. The mic is quite robust and though it's about half the weight of a SM58, it's visually indistinguishable. Testing it against the SM58 (£100)and an AKG D5 (£80) revealed - unsurprisingly - that it lacked the clarity and warmth of the more expensive mics, but despite this it still put in a very creditable performance and will be perfect as an extra or spare, for which I would recommend it highly. Review: Great Mic... worth more than the price - Ordered this mic to complement my setup... or a Mixer and Interface... as I stream... and im very impressed for its price range, this £8.50 mic has been outperforming my Dynamic mic... needless to say if your getting into streaming or podcasting... this mic is solid... worth more than the £8.50 i paid.
