It produces a clear, detailed sound and works really well for vocals, instruments, and general recording. The build quality feels solid, and having the different pickup pattern options makes it very versatile for different uses. It performs far better than expected at this price point and is a great choice for anyone wanting a reliable studio mic without spending a fortune. Highly recommended. Review: Unbeatable for the price - Good microphones are expensive. These inexpensive Behringer mics represent the best quality you can get at the low price. Their real strength is in the omni capsule. If you plan to use only the cardioid capsule, these don't offer a huge advantage over the C-2 which is about half the price. The manufacturing quality isn't amazing - the stickers were peeling off mine on arrival but the mics are metal and feel good in the hand. They perform nicely and they come with a hard carry case, wind shield and mic holder. If you're new to "proper" microphones, be aware that these require phantom power to operate. Make sure your mixer / preamp can offer phantom power.
