The axles, cab and bonnet are made of steel. The rest of the truck is made from heavy duty plastic. I purchased this Tonka truck for my 3 year old great nephew who loves his Tonka trucks. He will get years of play out of this truck and no doubt that it will be passed along in due course. Review: Stands up well to rough play - Always liked the Tonka range as they’re tough and can take a bit of rough play. My son enjoys crashing this around and it has lasted well. Good value for money considering how much it’s used.
