Review: Compact camera bag with good padding and useful pockets -
I really like this small camera bag. It’s compact with lots of
wee sections and pockets for extra bits and pieces and is great
for taking out and about without having to lug a large camera bag
round all day. From the photos you can see the inside has a
removable soft padded divider, which helps keep your camera
protected and in place, The divider can be moved or removed
depending on what you want to carry, which is useful if you want
to use the bag for other things as well. The interior lining is
soft and the padding feels decent, so it should help protect gear
from bumps when you’re out and about. There are also quite a few
pockets for such a small bag. The main compartment holds the
camera, while the 2 front zip pockets and other sections are
handy for things like memory cards, batteries, cables etc.
Size-wise it’s quite compact at around 27 x 6.5 x 16 cm, which
you can see reflected in the photos. It fits my small
interchangeable-lens camera with a lens attached comfortably and
still leaves room for a few accessories. The bag itself feels
lightweight but well padded, and the adjustable strap makes it
easy to wear as a crossbody or shoulder bag. Overall it’s a great
little camera bag for travel or everyday photography, especially
if you just want to carry the essentials without lugging around a
big camera bag.
Review: Nice little bag / case but there are better ones - I
picked up this Bagsmart camera bag for my everyday carry setup,
and overall it is a really handy little piece of kit. The
exterior material is nice and soft to the touch, which gives it a
comfortable feel. On the front, there is a decent padded zip
pocket that adds a bit of extra protection for anything you slide
in there. The strap also feels very solid and secure, although it
is worth noting that it is permanently fixed to the bag and
cannot be removed. Looking at the inside, the layout is okay but
has a few limitations when it comes to organization. There is a
long pocket running down one side, along with a few smaller,
thinner pockets. Because these smaller pockets aren't
elasticated, items can easily slip out and rattle around in the
main compartment. It definitely isn't ideal for carrying lots of
loose, tiny items like memory cards or small adapters unless you
keep them contained in a separate little holder first. In terms
of capacity, it is perfectly sized for what I would call a
proper, everyday carry compact camera rather than a tiny
point-and-shoot. It comfortably holds the camera body along with
a spare lens, a power bank, and a couple of other daily
essentials. If you are just looking for a straightforward, soft
bag to grab and go with your basic photography gear, this
definitely does the job nicely. At £22 I'd say it's a touch
expensive and there may be better options for what you need but
of it was on offer then it may well be worth considering.
