Review: Ok - These reusable stainless steel coffee pods for Tassimo machines are a decent idea in theory, especially if you’re trying to cut down on waste and ongoing pod costs. They feel solidly made, fit the machine properly, and the included brush and spoon are useful extras. In use though, results are a bit mixed. You do need to experiment with grind size, coffee amount and tamping to get a decent brew, and even then it doesn’t quite match the consistency or convenience of original Tassimo pods. Coffee strength can vary, and it’s not exactly a “set and forget” experience. Good if you enjoy tinkering and want a reusable option, but if you value convenience above all else, this may feel like more effort than it’s worth. Review: Compatible with Happy Machine, but not Finesse machine - I’ve used similar refill pods for a long time with my Tassimo coffee machines, but this one is different. It’s very slightly deeper than the others I have and therefore it doesn’t work properly with my Finesse machine, but it’s ok with my older Happy machine. So be careful which coffee machine you want to use it with as the specification has clearly changed a little between the two models. It produces a great cup of ground coffee though, at a fraction of the brand name capsule pods in the supermarkets. It’s simple to use, just put ground coffee into the pod, place the lid on and pop it into the machine as usual. So in that respect it’s excellent, and I’ll enjoy using it, but only with my older Tassimo Happy coffee maker.
