Axis 5008-001 - 5 Volts

The Axis Communications 5008-001 is a PoE splitter specifically designed for use with an AXIS 206 or AXIS 207 network camera. A PoE splitter does the exact opposite of a PoE injector. Instead of combining power and data, it splits the power and data coming over the network into two separate transmissions. By using a PoE injector at the source end and a PoE splitter at the receiving end, a single Ethernet cable can be used to supply both power and data to network cameras that are not PoE compatible.
