Review: Must have! Great volume, great headset! - It came with
the 3.5" jack as the default which works on my cellphone (that's
the standard). The 3.5 jack plug works in my cellphone. I would
recommend to anyone who uses their cellphone as their
desk/business phone. We use this headset on a Macbook, iPad,
cheap Lenovo tablet, and also a cheap Android phone - they all
work great. I am so glad we just have to plug in and not worry
about software or bluetooth connectivity. Now I have used this
headset several times and I am happy to say: I can hear well
through it, and it is comfortable on my head. It's what I needed
to get back into communication with people that are important to
me. Noise cancellation is not important to me. I like to be able
to hear what's going on in my household while I'm working. Since
the headset themselves are quite small, there is still a certain
noise reduction effect, but they suit me perfectly. I highly
recommend them!
Review: Headset that offers value for its price - This headset is
a terrific value for its price. It's a hard plastic headset
that's surprisingly adjustable, with basic foam cushions and an
excellent 3.5 mm plug. However, it's probably best to keep this
headset in one place, e.g., with one laptop, as while it's not
flimsy, it's not as solid as a headset for DJs/music that are
considerably more expensive. I'd put this one somewhere above
functional. While it's not uncomfortable, after an hour or two, I
know it's there on the top curvature of my head, and I have it at
the widest setting (yes, a big head), so I may add some padding
up there. The ear pads are soft foam, not closed ear, so my
suggestion is to be extra gentle in handling this. The little
volume dial on the side was also unexpected, a plus more than a
minus, as your keyboard may not have that option - or you may
forget it does or how to use it - or you're using a product that
doesn't have this. The sound quality from this is adequate to
good though this, and not tinny for instance, but it isn't
marketed or priced where one would expect rich, robust sound.
This product surprisingly comes with a nice soft fabric bag with
a tie string, though I'd recommend something more substantial if
you take this on a trip. For the money, this headset would be
hard to beat. While it's not cheap nor cheaply made, as some in
this price range might be, it's not premium or priced that way.
