1. Unbox the game and lay out the game board. 2. Each player chooses a set of cable car pieces and a set of destination tickets. 3. Place your cable car pieces on the starting spaces on the board. 4. Draw three destination tickets and keep them secret. 5. On your turn, you can either draw a new destination ticket, claim a route, or build a route. 6. To claim a route, place one of your cable car pieces on the starting space of the route and draw a new destination ticket. 7. To build a route, pay the required fare and place one of your cable car pieces on the ending space of the route. 8. Complete trips by connecting the starting and ending spaces of a route with your cable car pieces. 9. The game ends when one player has completed six trips or when the destination ticket deck is empty.
