Review: Great alternative to the apple watch that works with both
ecosystems - Honest review, So I will start off by saying I've
had a apple watch series 5 since it came out. Never had a issue
with the watch other than battery life wasnt that great. I just
got the s26 ultra and watch has just become a digital clock. I
needed something that worked with my new phone. After researching
tons of watches I came across this gem. I was happy with the
price and it had all the features I needed. From what I learned
you can't tap to pay with it but I never even used that on my
Apple watch but for notifications, tracking my fitness activity
and contolling my music. This watch is perfect. You can answer
calls, reply to text and stay connected. I can't always have my
phone in my hand at work so seeing my notifications are important
to me. I got the watch with 56 percent battery life 3 days ago
and I'm at 39 percent now. This is the first watch light enough
and comfortable enough to even sleep with so I am now also
tracking my sleep patterns. I haven't written a review on
desertcart in ages but I honestly must say desertcart did a
amazing job with this watch. It has so many face watch options
and very easy to connect to the phone. If your looking for a
fitness tracking good quality watch for a affordable price. I
truly highly recommend this watch. I am very happy with my
purchase and even if I decide to go back to the apple iPhone. I
will still choose to stay with this watch over paying a few
hundred dollars for a watch that I have to charge daily and don't
use half the features it has. The one thing I'm not sure if this
has that I know can come in handy is the sos feature but for 80
bucks I will not complain.
Review: Honest review: the watch is awesome! - I have worn this
watch for about a month now and feel I can give a pretty thorough
review of its pros and cons. Pros: This watch has an AMAZING
price point for what it delivers. Sleep tracking is useful and
seems very accurate, workout/GPS tracking is extremely accurate,
notifications are customizable and legible even allowing you to
respond directly on the watch with either speech-to-text or a
full keyboard. While on the topic, speech-to-text is very good,
no issues with the watch misunderstanding me. The Flow Assistant
is both handy and accurate in understanding and executing the
tasks given (setting timers, reminders, changing settings, basic
questions, etc); it has surprised me a couple times with some of
the things it was able to answer and information it can provide
but has its limitations, I mean it's a watch not full blown
Google search so pretty darn impressed with the capabilities
Amazfit has been able to pack into this thing. The touch screen
is responsive and the flow between screens is smooth. This watch
has an extremely high quality feel to it and the software is
intuitive and clean, providing a great snapshot of info but also
allowing you to dive way deeper in the app, which is also easy to
understand and navigate. If you know how to use a smartphone with
relative ease then the Zepp app will not be a problem for you.
All in all, I find this watch and the accompanying app to be an
extremely useful piece of every day gear, whether at the gym,
exercising outdoors or working in the office. Cons: The issues
with this watch are few and negligible in my opinion. So far the
screen seems pretty durable during every day wear. I have whacked
my wrist against tables, kitchen islands, door knobs, looking
down at the watch expecting the worst but not damage or
scratching that I can see so far. I did manage to drop the watch
on my tile bathroom floor and noticed a small dent in the metal
casing that surrounds the screen. So the aluminum (I guess?) body
of the watch is certainly lightweight but susceptible to damage
if dropped on the wrong surface at the wrong angle. All that
aside, the only other issue I noticed after a couple weeks was
the factory wristband that comes with the watch, while stylish
and sleek, did start to irritate my skin at one spot. Just
started to get kind of red and itchy so not sure if it was the
material they use or how the band tucks under itself, but wanted
to mention it here. I made sure to always take the watch off
after getting it wet (washing hands, shower, swimming) and dried
it and my arm off before wearing it again but replacing the band
altogether was the only solution I was able to find. Food for
thought if you are considering getting this watch (WHICH I STILL
RECOMMEND) would be the also order a replacement band or two to
try out. Overall, this short review does not begin to cover all
the awesome things this relatively cheap watch can do, but I
highly recommend giving the Bip 6 a shot!
