Review: Great For Gym - I decided that my £30 ebay special smart
watch needed to go as the heart rate monitor was a bit suspect
(at rest 120bpm) I wanted to treat myself to something better but
I didn't need a £400 plus samsung or apple watch. A bit about me:
I wanted a smart watch primarily for steps, calories, sleep and
general activity. I don't care for calls, texts or even really
sleep but it's a nice feature to have I came across this and I'm
pleased with my purchase! Build quality: Nice metal bezels and a
leather strap. Glass is nice to the touch a clear. Lightweight
and I even forget it's on my wrist because of that. Function: The
Bluetooth is great, all notifications come up on the screen. Can
take phone calls and the speaker and microphone are great
quality. You are unable to text. If you remove a notification on
the watch, it removes it off of your phone. The app that comes
with the watch is intuitive and gives a lot of decent
information. Lots of different watch faces and even have a
special face called "abundance of information" which is perfect
for me! Tell you time, weather, date, day, steps, distance heart
rate, low and high temp of the day, calories. Gym: This watch is
great for the gym. You set the mode you want and once finished it
gives you a lot of information about when you are in a fat burn,
heartbeat low and high, calories, time all sorts of information.
The calories burnt then get added to the existing calories on the
home screen of the watch which means you don't have to log it
separately. When using a lifestyle fitness machine and the watch
together I noticed it gave a 1-3 bpm difference. The heartbeat
monitor is very accurate! Perfect for the gym. Battery life : For
me, the life is about 5 days but I'm a heavy power user. I'm
happy with the battery life. Charges up quickly. Negatives: When
using directions like Google maps on my phone in the car, even
with Bluetooth turned off, the watch is still connected.... This
is infuriating as the watch goes mental when you're driving
buzzing every 5 seconds to warn you of a junction coming up and
next direction. Great if you use it to run with maps on but awful
when in the car. Why is it active when Bluetooth is off?! They
use something called pai, it's almost like a reward system for
working out or standing for a period of time. Don't really know
what it's for or what I can do with it. Sometimes the automatic
workout can be annoying. I was changing the brake pads on my car
and the watch assumed I was going for a swim? The sleep monitor
can be inaccurate. I woke up early morning one night and the
watch clocked it but another night I was chilling in bed and it
thought I was asleep the whole time I was chilling. The pictures
on the menu don't have any writing on them and they aren't always
clear as to what that app does without clicking on it. Conclusion
: Even with its foiables I love this device, perfect for someone
that wants a great gym companion without wanting the fancy
gimmicks that the samsung and apple provide. Would definitely buy
it again. Very happy with the purchase
Review: Premium smart watch at a reasonable price. - Absolutely
brilliant SmartWatch. Firstly the 10 days is so much better than
most smart watches out on the market, it is so good not have to
charge my SmartWatch so often. Secondly this has all the features
I need, NFC is brilliant for payments, very easy health app to
set up on my phone, and lots of it really easy functions and
apps. It basically feels like a phone on your arm. Thirdly, my
other key reason for purchasing and watch like this is its low
profile. So many lower price smartwatches are really clunky but
this feels like an ordinary watch and very light on your wrist.
Finally, the screen is super bright but do remember to turn it
off auto to get its full brightness. Overall I'm very pleased
with this watch, it looks very cool and has loads of
functionality.
