These snap together models are ideal for 8 and up. My 8 year old put it together in less than 45 minutes. The snap together tank tracks took a little longer ,but they stay together. An adult will need to help adjust them a little. You can YouTube it to see how easy it is to assemble. He was super excited at his first 1/35 scale tank. I highly recommend this brand . Stay away from those block builds for this age group. The helicopter was a piece of cake to put together for my 10yr old. The tank was a little more because of the track system was a little more complicated but I help my 8yr old through it and he was very happy with outcome. Good buy on both items.
