Ghenos Games Iki: Historical Strategy - Board Game (Italian)

IKI is a strategy game set in Japan, in the Edo period (1603-1868), Tokyo at that time. You will enter the busiest market in the Nihonbashi district with shops (Nagaya) selling rice, tobacco, pipes and fish. In the workshops you will find artisans and merchants who specialize in various activities related to everyday life: lantern manufacturers, fans and tatamis, sushi and tempura sellers, geishas and kabuki actors… Employ them: they will grow their experience, age and then retire and provide you with income over the seasons. And then there are fires and the population may have food shortages. You live for a whole year in Edo with the goal of having the most IKI, which is the ideal way to lead a civic life.
