A large vapor chamber significantly increases cooling area for rapid and efficient heat dissipation through 4 fan outlets, allowing for up to 25W higher thermal headroom in Turbo mode. Surface temperatures are monitored by a built-in IR sensor that calibrates cooling as needed. These and other improvements allow ROG Boost to overclock the GPU in Turbo mode, and they open up extra thermal headroom to push even more power through the platform. Liquid metal Liquid metal compound from Thermal Grizzly reduces temperatures by up to 14° C and improves thermal transfer compared to standard thermal paste.
