Efficient induction hob:

The IB 6403 E2 BK induction hob has three cooking zones that allow great versatility when preparing food. In addition, it has a timer function for each zone that allows precise time management during cooking. With a width of 59 cm, this hob adapts perfectly to different kitchen configurations and also offers a limited power of up to 5.3 kW.

3 cooking zones and other features:

With a large surface area of 250 mm, the right zone has the booster function, which has a power of 1.8 kW (max. 2.3 kW), ideal for quickly boiling water or heating liquids in a short time. On the left side there is a 180 mm zone with a power of 1.8 kW, which is perfect for medium sized pans and pots. The left rear section is more compact with a diameter of 160 mm and a power of 1.5 kW, ideal for slower cooking or the use of small containers.

Touch control and functions:

The plate features intuitive touch control with audible warning that allows easy power adjustment with 9 adjustable levels and the booster function. In addition, it has three specific cooking functions: melt/defrost (45-55ºC), heating/keeping warm (65-70ºC) and simmering (85-95ºC).

Auto connectivity allows automatic control of the CATA Auto cooker hoods, ensuring more convenience and efficiency when cooking. In addition, the hob is equipped with automatic vessel detection that ensures that induction is only activated when a pot or pan is in the correct area. It has several safety features such as the safety lock, a residual heat indicator and an automatic shut-off in case of prolonged inactivity to ensure safe use at all times.
