Protected RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts
The two 8-pin RJ45 connectors incorporate molded strain relief and locking tab protection. Gold plated contacts promote reliable transmission. Conductor assignment is performed in accordance with EIA/TIA-568B.

The cable consists of four twisted pairs with AWG28/7 multi-strand conductors. Depending on the variant, the inner conductive material may be copper or CCA.
