How to use it ? 1. Turn off your tube amplifier 2. Remove the power tube 3. Insert probe to the tube socket. 4. Insert black banana plug in the COM jack of your multimeter 5. Insert red banana plug in the mA jack of your multimeter 6. Insert tube in the socket of the probe 7. Set your multimeter to the mA range ( most common is 200mA ) 8. Turn on your amp 9. Allow tube to warm up for a while 10. You will get a direct reading in mA 11. Repeat in reverse 12. All done
