FlexAssist colour coding With the FlexAssist markings you can identify at a glance which elements can be repositioned in order to adjust the basket to your needs. Small symbols, such as a cup or a wine glass on the coloured elements point out how the area can be used. At the same time, the FlexAssist markings serve as handle elements. This allows optimum basket versatility with the flick of a wrist. 3D MultiFlex tray We have improved the cutlery tray, so it can now also accommodate even small items such as espresso cups. The 3D MultiFlex tray has a sunken central section and two side sections. The left-hand section can be pushed to the right to create space for tall wine glasses in the upper basket. The depth of the right-hand section can be adjusted to easily accommodate large items of cutlery and small items of crockery. XL Assist Whether it’s bowls, ovenproof dishes or pots – even bulky items are held securely in the dishwasher basket thanks to XL Assist. Large items can be positioned quickly in the lower basket and small bowls are easily placed below them. Both sets of items are thoroughly cleaned. The Miele XL Assist is flexible and can easily be folded down if not used. This means that you can perfectly load your Miele dishwasher with all kinds of items. Standard place settings Miele dishwashers offer space for up to 14 standard place settings. Our baskets ensure that we comply with the relevant standards while also fulfilling your wishes and needs – all your items will be perfectly positioned and are thoroughly cleaned and dried. ExtraComfort The basket design with the 3D MultiFlex cutlery tray, FlexCare cup rack and the split hinged row of spikes provides added convenience for your crockery. With FlexCare Glass & Bottle, wine glasses are held securely on silicone cushions and there is space for up to four reusable bottles. The lateral MultiClips secure smaller items, while the XL Assist holder accommodates large crockery, creating more space. FlexCare Glass & Bottle Bottles, glasses and other hollow items are held securely in the lower basket thanks to FlexCare Glass & Bottle. It ensures perfect cleaning performance in combination with the new BottleClean extra. The water-carrying spray arms enable thorough cleaning of long, hollow items. The BottleHolder is integrated in the cup rack and can also be used as a storage surface if required – for maximum flexibility. Waterproof system (WPS) WPS features a second solenoid valve directly at the stopcock. In the event that the first valve is defective, the second one closes the inlet. The sheathed water inlet hose also ensures the highest level of safety: in the event of damage to the inner hose, water flows down the outer sleeve into the floor tray. EcoPower technology In the ECO programme, water consumption is reduced to 8.4 litres. This also means that less energy is required to heat the water, and you benefit from an energy-efficient dishwasher. The water savings are achieved through the intelligent design of the supply system and a new, highly efficient filter system. Additional insulation reduces thermal losses and thus the amount of energy required to heat the water. Fresh water dishwasher Miele dishwashers rely solely on fresh water and can wash crockery with as little as 6 litres of water in the Automatic programme – much less than the contents of a sink. With this feature, Miele has reduced water consumption by 85 % over the last 30 years. Electricity consumption has also been reduced to new all-time lows: in the ECO programme, Miele dishwashers achieve energy consumption values of just 0.54 kWh. Half load You can use your dishwasher with a clear conscience even when it's not full: in almost all standard programmes, your dishwasher measures how many dishes are inside the chamber and precisely adapts the water consumption accordingly. With automatic load sensing, there is no longer any need to wait until the dishwasher is fully loaded. Hot water connection All Miele dishwashers can be connected to hot water at temperatures of up to 60 °C. This reduces electricity consumption by up to 35 % and programme running times by up to 10 %. In the ECO programme, the energy consumption of the dishwasher is reduced to as little as 0.29 kWh. EcoFeedback Do you want to protect the environment when washing your dishes? Our dishwashers make it easy for you: as soon as you select a programme, the display tells you how much water and electricity it is likely to consume. EcoFeedback enables you to select the option which is best for the environment. You can view the actual consumption values in the display at the end of the programme. Brilliant GlassCare Brilliant GlassCare washes glasses gently. The Gentle programme cleans at just 45 °C. The FlexCare glass holder with silicone padding8holds wine glasses gently but securely. Patented AutoOpen drying opens the dishwasher door automatically at the end of a programme cycle. Glasses are dry, they do not have to be polished manually – and our perfectly matched cleaning products with glass protection formula provide the best possible care. SensorDry SensorDry intelligently adapts the programme for excellent drying results and to prevent damage to kitchen furniture. A sensor checks the load and measures the temperature inside the chamber and the room temperature. The programme is then adapted accordingly, e.g. by modifying the final rinse temperature. The aim: to stop condensation forming on cabinets and to reduce energy consumption and running time without compromising on consistent drying.
