The pizza-loving crime fighters are back in KONAMI's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. In collaboration with Nickelodeon, thirteen action-packed games of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) will be released in 2022 from KONAMI's archive of 8-bit, 16-bit and arcade titles along with their Japanese versions* for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. In the extensive collection of these classic KONAMI beat-'em-ups, players experience the hunt for shredder, fight against The Foot and tap their way with Bebop and Rocksteady. In collaboration with game developer Digital Eclipse, KONAMI adapts these classics for modern platforms with fantastic new quality-of-life features such as the ability to save at any time, rewind the game and adjust the control buttons. Also, certain titles**, where it was originally intended, can be played together both online and in local couch co-op. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection also includes a digital game guide for each individual track that helps players fight through difficult situations and sometimes swim. Based on the characters and themes of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons and comic book series for children from the 80s, the games usually lead the heroes into a fictional version of New York City, through sewers, to futuristic opponent bases, or even through various points in time. In partnership with Nickelodeon, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection proves the diversity of the franchise in a virtual museum and includes many extras including visual elements from the original cartoons, comics and other TMNT media.
