What's New in Nyx: 1) Constellation Mechanic: these are abilities that trigger whenever the card with constellation enters the battlefield, and trigger again anytime an enchantment enters the battlefield. This daisy-chains with other Theros-block abilities such as "Bestow" which is both a creature and an enchantment type. 2) Strive: this is a mechanic that allows you to "pump up" the instant, sorcery or enchantment card to include more than one target. More often than not, the 1st target has a very low and attractive mana cost, but additional targets have rather large mana costs. Theros-Bock Mechanics Returning in Nyx: 1) Bestow: this is a card with both a creature type and an enchantment type. It's great in that it's a versatile card that can add value to existing cards on the battlefield, but leaves you especially vulnerable to removal--since both creatures and enchantment removals apply. 2) Heroic: this is an ability that triggers every time you cast a spell that targets the heroic creature.
