I have Windows 10, I plugged in the monitor and it automatically went to 1920x1080 resolution at 60Hz. 75Hz at 1920x1080 resolution is available in the display settings and worked for me. It comes with HDMI and VGA cables. Since my docking station has mini DisplayPort I bought a separate Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. Unlike other reviewers, I don't notice any backlight bleed, even in a dark room with black background. My normal desktop background is very dark, and the first thing I noticed when plugging in this monitor is how much darker the black is than my previous monitor. I finally had to get a display to go with my Macbook Pro and I had ordered another brand that would not work right so that one was returned and I bought this one. I love it! Super light, super easy to assemble, and has a great resolution. I mostly do research and a little bit of data at work so this is perfect for me. The only thing is that I wish it were taller. I had to put it on three reams of paper so that I can see it above my laptop screen. Amazing for the price, and so relieved since I really didn't want to spend a lot of money.
