The straightener heats up scary fast, which I like that I can just turn it on and get started quickly. I have thick, wavy to curly hair texture, so I was curious if this would actually work for me. I was able to complete straightening my hair in 25 minutes, and i did my 6yo daughter's hair in about 15 minutes. I normally have to spend about an hour on each of us so this is amazing! My favorite thing about this straightener is that you can straighten bigger sections at a time and still cover more hair than just using a flat iron. I will note that for me, one overhand pass is enough, but I went one more pass underhand to add more volume and a little bump at the ends. Fabulous! In my opinion, this purchase was well worth the money and saves me a bunch of time. It's very easy to use, and if the manual isn't helpful enough, there are plenty videos on YouTube for visual reference. One more thing that I like is that it gets hot within the bristles and I found that i was able to get very close to the root without burning. Iwould suggest to wear a glove if your hair retains heat, though mine didn't come with one. Overall, if you're anything like me and don't like to spend a long time on straightening your hair, this is definitely a good buy. Review: Best hair tool since.....ever! - Going on year 2 of use.
