I've only used it through a usb connection so far, but have plans to try the xlr soon once I get an adapter. It needs only minimal setup, and if you're a beginner streamer or youtuber, or even just planning to use it for gaming it really is a great product. I've had no complaints while recording voice overs and streaming with this mic. I'll even get comments about the mic sounding really clear and crisp. It doesn't pick up the sound of my pc fans in the background which can be loud at times, and doesn't usually pick up much background noise. If you're looking to pay less than a 100$ for a mic, this is a great option.
