In Wyrmspan you are an amateur dracologist, in a place where dragons of all shapes, sizes and colors roam the sky. Dig up a hidden maze you've recently excavated on your land and entice these beautiful creatures to sleep in the sanctuary of your caves. Wyrmspan is inspired by the mechanisms of Wingspan, although its over 16 unique elements make Wyrmspan a standalone game (not compatible with Wingspan). With thematic and mechanical twists such as dragon hatching, cave maps, dragon personalities and more, help distinguish this game from Wingspan. During a game of Wyrmspan, you build a sanctuary for dragons of all shapes and sizes. Your sanctuary begins with 3 excavated rooms--the left square in your Crimson Cave, your Golden Grotto, and your Amethyst Abyss. As the game progresses, you dig up additional spaces in your sanctuary and entice dragons to live there by chaining powerful skills together and earning the favor of the Dragon Guild. This is a competitive family board game with strategic engine building mechanics. Wyrmspan also includes FSC certified eco-friendly components, game aids and is color blind friendly.
