Review: Shark are the best in the game - I'm a big lover of Shark
as a brand and have many other devices which I use from them,
this is the first time I've had any hair care products from them
though and I have to say I've been very impressed. First
impressions were fantastic. The unboxing experience feels
premium. The box has some instructions on it but it comes with an
envelope with more inside. It also comes with a very well made
pleather pink pouch to hold the straightener and the 3 brush
attachments that comes with it. The fact that this is a
straightener, blow dryer and hair brush/comb all in one, is
amazing! It is a pretty high price tag but it's great investment
if you value convenience. Also highly recommend watching the
videos in the instructions, they're so informative. Build quality
wise this thing is built like a tank. Very premium feeling as
you'd expect from shark and at this price point. No complaints
here. Performance wise it's incredible. It makes absolutely light
work out of my hair. Straitening and drying with ease. If I had
to nitpick id say the dryer can get a little loud but then again
considering how they've fit everything into this one neat package
I'm sure compromises had to be made and I don't feel it's worth
deducting a star over a minor annoyance. All in all, it's a
fantastic bit of kit. If you need something that can dry,
straiten and brush all at once then you'll do well with this. 5*!
Review: Silky results, even on thick hair! - I love this! It’s a
genuinely great multifunction styling tool. I wasn’t sure how
well a wet‑to‑dry straightener would work on my hair (very thick,
dense, bleached, with a 2c–3a curl pattern that takes 6+ hours to
air‑dry), but it did, and it did it well. My hair came out silky
and smooth. I can get it very straight and flat if I want to, but
my preference is a blowout‑style finish, and to my surprise I was
able to achieve that too. I could even curl with it, which I
didn’t expect given it’s chunkier than a standard straightener.
It took a little practice to get used to the technique
(especially since the airflow only comes from one side) but once
I got the hang of it, it was really easy to use. The comb
attachments are great for keeping everything smooth and
tangle‑free, and the design details like the burgundy plug and
cable look gorgeous. The plug itself is large because it includes
a breaker, and you do need to press the reset button every time
before it’ll turn on, but I think that’s a nice safety feature
rather than a flaw. For a single device that can dry, straighten,
smooth, shape and curl, it’s incredibly versatile and genuinely
impressive. I’ve been able to replace multiple tools with this
one and the results have been consistently sleek and
healthy‑looking, so whilst the £250 price tag isn't cheap it
feels very worth the investment.
