Ryobi R18PD7-0 - Brushless Percussion Drill 18V Hyper Green

Part of the ONE+ system of cordless tools for the home and garden, the Ryobi R18PD7-0 is a powerful brushless combi drill with 22 clutch settings for driving screws flush. The all-metal 13mm ratcheting chuck is ideal for even the most demanding applications, with up to 85Nm of torque and an LED light to illuminate the work area. The switch between drilling, screwdriving, and hammer mode open a variety of applications from constructing furniture to drilling into masonry and brick. The adjustable side handle and depth stop provide greater user comfort, and increased control. The R18PD7-0 is sold as a 'bare' tool (without a battery or charger) but is compatible with all batteries and chargers across the 18V ONE+ system.

Troubleshooting steps

• If there is a burning smell coming from the drill then that is a sign of user error with the motor being overloaded.
• If the motor is running but the chuck is not turning that would suggest a gear issue on the drill. This could be caused by the user using to large of drill bit in the drill.
• If no sign of overload of the motor, the issue could be with the switch
