Not sure if it was from packaging or handling during shipping, but it wasn't a big deal since they came off easily. The mic itself performs really well and feels solid. Setup was straightforward and I haven't had any technical issues with it. The build quality seems good and it's been reliable so far. Would definitely recommend this mic - just don't worry if you see some white marks when you first unbox it. They're probably just surface residue that cleans off no problem.
