Ostensibly, its primary function is washing/polishing/buffing cars and vans. In fact, it's so good at all of these that you could almost start up a car valeting service. But it's useful in tons of other ways too: like washing and polishing hardwood, tiled and vinyl floors; cleaning bathroom and kitchen wall tiles and even sanding rough cut timber ready for priming. So, when you buy one be sure to keep your finger on the button. The first job was to restore some lustre to the tired looking bodywork of my Land Rover which is rapidly reaching the veteran stage. Initially I found the wide selection of pads and cushions daunting but, once I had worked out which pad did what, the whole valeting process was simple and turned into as much of a pleasure as a chore. The same can be said for the domestic cleaning jobs I got through,including sanding down some very rough timber to an acceptable finish. So,if you want to take some of the strain out of valeting your car or van, you could put it out to a professional valeting service or, for about the same sort of price, give this handy little tool a whirl.
