Review: Best electric toothbrush I've used - I've tried Phillips Sonicare 4100 and the Oral B 5000 model and this one blows those out of the water. My teeth feel so much more cleaner with iO. My issue with Phillips is my teeth just don't feel as clean as with the Oral B toothbrushes. Philips Sonicare 4100 is easier to use because it's like a conventional toothbrush but the clean just isn't as good as the Oral B roundheads. My issues with the Oral B 5000 model are that it's noisy and the motor quickly became worse/weakened. It still had a better clean though than the Philips 4100. The iO model is easier to use than the 5000 and so far, the motor's held up (only a month tbf). The 5000 model feels like a more harsh clean while the iO model is so much smoother I suppose because of its new motor. I hope the motor doesn't feel slow in the future. I've seen people talk about mold. I have no idea how that happens but it hasn't happened to me on any of my toothbrushes. I've found my model of electric toothbrush to buy now.
