We write the 16th century: near Hamburg, the small fishing village of Altona is created and soon grows into a serious rival of the time-honored Hanseatic city. But although Altona finally became part of Hamburg in the 20th century, the history of the rival cities could also have taken a different run... In the city duel Rival Cities, it comes down to cleverly used distraction manoeuvres as well as the correct assessment of the opponent's intentions. Over the course of a maximum of seven seasons, the cities are always alternately on the train. The ink bottle can be dragged onto any field to perform the appropriate actions. The right balance between costs and benefits is crucial here, because long ways cost more goods. Actions such as production or exchange of goods fill your own warehouse, while a donation can help to achieve the punctuating star markers. However, whether these are really worth something will only be shown if not one of the cities achieves immediate victory through an uncollectible lead in one of the four areas of success - reputation, processes, ships or alliances.
