Pretty clean Android/Oxygen OS with only a tiny bit of "bloat" which is easy to remove. OK, so the device itself does not come assembled in a fancy luxury metal case. But by the time you've put your phone in a quality protective case (because surely you ARE going to do that, or forever have your phone at risk when you one day drop it?!), this point is moot anyway. I put mine in a Tudia case, and the overall aesthetic result is incredibly solid and high quality. (I previously owned an iPhone 13, and yes, the glass/metal construction felt more luxurious, but that phone also permanently lived in a silicone protective case, so any aesthetic gain was completely negated, hence my point!). Hardware in this phone is top-notch; battery life is outstanding. The wide-angle lens could be a fraction better, but the main camera is very crisp and delivers fantastic photos/videos. Speed/performance/memory all great with latest Android. Hopefully should get 4-5 years out of this phone before replacing. Review: Very Good & Powerful for the price. Highly recommend buying case obviously. - First OnePlus Phone, price is excellent and competes well with other mid range phones like Poco F7 however loses in CPU which this phone has the slightly older Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 whereas some others might have Gen 4 but that’s 100% fine. Battery life is excellent and can easily last full day if you aren’t playing some intensive games and the screen quality is excellent! Bright OLED with adaptive tone and an Eye Care mode. Only downside is that there was no power brick included and you are missing out on the free gifts compared to using the OnePlus official website. Plus I dropped the phone on accident while getting out of the car since it slid out my pocket and I’m just thankful that I wasn’t in a van or SUV since the back of the phone would’ve probably been demolished. So far only the camera bump was scratched and is now grey. Talk about bad luck. Xiaomi and other phone brands are easily generous enough to provide cases like the Poco series which could’ve easily prevented this issue but I guess it’s just what it is.
