From the gameplay to the art style, music and characters there's a lot to love about this game. The story is done a little bit like a visual novel but with excellent voice work and the way they have incorporated multiple different languages for each character from Hindi, Dutch, German, French and others is so unique and each group in the campaign has there own reason for being about of the race. Mixed in with the story is also the gameplay which to me never gets old but with a few objectives related to the story at that moment but also over time introduces you to new gameplay mechanics done the road. The art style this game has is so visually pleasing and stunning. From the style of the cars to with colour and paint job on the cars each car has a unique look and art work on each. The maps you race around are also beautiful to look at and drive around with a neon city at night to a desert with the city in the distance glowing neon. Every inch of this game is art The mechanics are very different from other racing games as this you use both analogue sticks for the car. Left stick is for controlling the car like any other racing game but the right stick allows you to drift whenever you like to and that where this game differs from other because when you get used to the drifting this game comes into its own and feels so satisfying drifting from one corner to the next seemlessly. The mechanics are easy to pick-up and play but hard to master but when you master them there's a rush. For the price of £60 this game is definitely worth every penny and for the amount of content from the arcade mode alone and multiplayer you'll never be bored. You can wait for a sale but if you get it now you won't regret it. This game deserves so much attention it's unreal. Extremely recommend. Review: Best arcade racer on current gen - The gameplay is near perfect. I had to swap around some of the buttons as I found the default layout a little difficult for how I hold the controller. Story is the weakest part of the game. Lots of cringe moments and the constant language changing is annoying. Gets to a point you just wanna skip all of the dialogue. I wasn't really expecting a good story in a racing game though. All in all though I do recommend this game. Not had this much fun with an arcade racer in ages.
