Mercusys MS116GS 16-Port Gigabit Desktop/Rackmount Switch is designed to deliver high-performance connectivity for growing networks using full Gigabit interfaces. It provides sixteen 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDIX, allowing easy device connections without crossover cables, while a 32 Gbps switching capacity and an 8K MAC address table ensure smooth handling of heavy network traffic. Plug-and-play operation requires no configuration, enabling quick deployment on desktops or in rackmount environments and the durable metal casing supports efficient heat dissipation for long-term stability. Advanced features include isolation mode, which enables one-click client traffic separation to improve security and performance by reducing unnecessary broadcasts between ports and loop prevention to detect and mitigate loop-related issues that could disrupt the network. The switch uses a store-and-forward transfer method with IEEE 802.3x flow control and IEEE 802.1p/DSCP QoS support for prioritizing critical data streams and it complies with IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x and 802.1p standards.
