Mercusys MR37BE BE6500 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router is designed to bring Wi-Fi 7 capabilities to home networks that use bandwidth-heavy applications such as high-resolution streaming, online gaming and remote work tools. It operates on two bands with up to 5760 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, reaching an aggregate physical rate of 6.5 Gbps under Wi-Fi 7 specifications. Support for 160 MHz channel width and 4K-QAM modulation increases the amount of data transmitted per symbol compared with Wi-Fi 6, improving throughput when used with compatible clients. Multi-Link Operation allows client devices that support Wi-Fi 7 to send and receive data across different bands at the same time, which can raise effective speed and reduce latency for real-time scenarios. The MR37BE includes one 2.5 Gbps WAN port, one 2.5 Gbps LAN port and two 1 Gbps LAN ports, enabling multi-gig broadband and high-speed wired links for desktop computers, gaming consoles, TVs or network storage when paired with suitable service plans and cabling. Six omnidirectional high-gain antennas work together with proprietary Wi-Fi optimization and Beamforming to direct signal energy toward connected devices, supporting broader coverage, greater capacity and more reliable connections through walls and across larger homes. EasyMesh compatibility lets the router integrate with other EasyMesh-capable access points or extenders, forming a unified mesh network with one SSID and seamless roaming between nodes. The Mercusys app for iOS and Android guides users through installation and offers ongoing management tools, including parental controls that can limit online time, block specific websites and adjust access rules to create a controlled environment. WPA3 is provided as the latest security standard, enhancing protection of the wireless network against brute-force attempts and helping safeguard personal devices and information.
