The lightweight Hollow Socket Bits are designed to increase overhead fastening work by reducing the time spent hand threading fasteners over threaded rod. The long, hollow shaft allows threaded rod and extra long bolts to pass through the head of the socket in fastening applications whilst the increased socket length provides an improved access to nuts located in out of reach places such as ceilings, duct work and piping. The smooth chamfered inner well prevents the shaft from biting and damaging the thread for easy fastening and unfastening. Simply insert the Hollow Socket into an Impact Driver or Driver Drill for tightening and untightening nuts. Hollow Socket Bits are available in 10mm, 13mm and 17mm diameters and 5 lengths; 75mm, 150mm, 300mm, 500mm and 700mm.
