The Machinery Citadel impresses with an impressive 3000 ATK life points and a quick effect that can decimate your opponent's monsters by turning a machine you controlled into an explosion of splinters! If your opponent manages to destroy your machinery Citadel, it can reassemble from the graveyard when an Earth machine you control is destroyed. But you can also leave it to your own "machinery" to trigger this effect after you throw them into the scrap yard.
You put the plan into action by launching an air attack with mechanical engineering air attackers. You can discard a "Machinery" to Special Summon it from your hand and possibly throw a Machinery Citadel at the Graveyard! During the enemy turn, its Quick Effect can destroy a machine you control and save the scrap to Special Summon a "Machinery" with a different name and equal or lower level than that machine from your deck. After that, a machinery citadel can return to your cemetery with full force as the machine has been destroyed!
If a ranged attack is more your style, mechanical engineering can accelerate radiators on the field by also throwing off a "mechanical engineering". The Engineering Spotlight can also destroy one of your machines to Special Summon a "Machinery" with a different name and level equal to or lower than your monster, but then from your Graveyard! While mechanical engineering air attackers specialise in disturbing your opponent with its quick effect, mechanical engineering emitters proactively uses its effect in your own turn, so you can turn the tide to the positive in the duel!
