I haven't gone for the hpInstantink option as I don't print that much. I'd rather have something and not use it, than not have it and need it. The print quality looks good and as my last printer/copier/scanner was also an HP model, I feel very satisfied with this unit. The price was quite good, but I've had problems with the Wi-Fi connection. Thank goodness I use a USB port. The unit looks like most other All-in-One-Printers, in that it seems robust, not that I intend to throw it about. I cannot comment on the ink capacity, but the cartridges look to be the same size as my 350/351s used in my old printer. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.
