Terrible creatures from beyond time and space threaten the city of Arkham. Players must join forces to prevent their imminent descent into madness and destruction. If no action is taken, these ancient and evil beings will awaken, destroying not only Arkham but also the rest of our world. Arkham Horror is a cooperative game. All players collaborate with each other and win or lose the game as a team. Each player controls an intrepid researcher, one of the few exceptional individuals who are aware of the danger looming over our world. Researchers must explore the city to discover places, people, and creatures of both ordinary and supernatural nature. Hopefully, along this journey researchers will gather the clues and resources needed to confront the Primeval and ultimately thwart their evil designs.
