It works very well. The suction is strong and it stays powered up a while in the low setting. The longer you keep it on high, the quicker the battery goes down. I like the optional feature. It picks up dust that we didn't know was there. It is very easy to maneuver. The light guides your path in lowly lits areas. Review: Love This Vacuum! - We have had this for just over a year or so and have loved using it. Pros: It is light weight but still great quality. We wanted something smaller for our small apartment and now that we live in a house we still only use this vacuum. I love that it is cordless so you don't have to keep moving the cord around the house. The "Max" or "Turbo" setting works great as well, I usually use that whenever there is a lot to pick up! It has a bunch of attachments so you can you is for many different things like vacuuming couches, getting into corners, and even your car. Cons: I can only think of two cons. 1) I wish the battery lasted a little bit longer, sometimes I have to take a break and finish vacuuming after it charges. 2) When using the main vacuum attachment, it has problems picking things up in "reverse" (when pulling the vacuum backwards). Just something to keep in mind. Overall, very happy with our purchase!
