Review: Tiny Footprint, Massive Upgrades - The DJI Mic 3 is a masterclass in engineering. Moving from the Mic 2, I was worried the smaller size would mean less power, but it’s actually the opposite. The Form Factor: At only 16g, it doesn't sag on thin shirts. The new rotating clip is a genius touch—you can finally orient the mic properly regardless of how you’re clipping it. Audio Quality: The 32-bit float internal recording is a lifesaver for run-and-gun shoots where you can’t monitor levels. The new "Rich" and "Bright" voice presets actually sound usable and save time in post. The Catch: Be aware that DJI removed the 3.5mm jack on the transmitter. You can't plug in a lavalier mic anymore.
