The rules are the same, but thanks to the travel format, there is no excuse: now you can practice anywhere and become an Othello expert! Wake up the strategist in you with this simple game, because a true master requires a lot of tactical skill and must be able to think ahead! The rules of the game are simple: 2 players receive either black or white tiles to be placed on the board one after the other. The aim is to include the opponent's tokens. The game is over when all the tiles have been placed or there is no room for new pieces on the game board. The player who owns the most tiles in his colour on the board wins. At the beginning, each player has 32 tokens. At the beginning of the game, the black team places a token in the middle of the board and a second stone in the diagonally opposite field. The opponent's player places his first two tiles in the same way, creating a square on the board: the black tiles lie on E4 and D5 and the white tiles on D4 and E5. The game always starts in this starting lineup. The aim is to include one or more pieces of the opponent to turn them over to take on the colour of their own team. One or more tiles can be easily locked by simply placing a stone of your own colour on a field next to an opponent's token. In this way, the tiles of the opposite colour are wedged between two tiles of their own colour. In one turn, one or more opponent's tiles as well as several rows of opposing tiles can be locked simultaneously.
