Overwhelmed by their magnificent beauty, which King Manuel I became aware of during a visit to the Alhambra in Spain, he instructed his servants to decorate the walls of his own palace in Evora with similarly magnificent tiles. Azul Mini invites you to fulfill this wish.
With Azul Mini, Azul can be played anywhere. The player pads prevent the stones from slipping. In the high-quality fabric bag with snap closure, all play material can be stowed away to take with you. The rules do not change, so the full Azul experience can now be taken with you when travelling.
Also in the mini version of the tactical tile game and game of the year 2018 Azul you are tilers who were personally commissioned by King Manuel I to decorate his palace with mosaics made of the most beautiful tiles. So you have to compete with each other to get the best tiles from the manufactories at the best possible time.
In the pattern phase, each player chooses a tile colour from a factory. But beware: all copies of this colour must always be taken and if you are too greedy, the tiles break and it rains minus points. The collected tiles are strategically placed in your own pattern rows - a full pattern row results in a tile on the wall. Since the wall picture only shows the full beauty with connected tiles, there are many points for adjacent tiles. When a player's first horizontal line is completely filled, the game ends with an additional score and special points.
