Ares Games War of the Ring: Fire and Swords - Card Game

Fire and Swords is an expansion for War of the Ring - The Card Game, made by ingenious Ian Brody. This expansion expands the horizons of the game by introducing new battlefields for the "War in the North," along with new factions and a new place type known as Skirmishes, populated by countless characters from the saga The Lord of the Rings.

In Fire and Swords, you'll discover a wealth of content, including 60 faction cards, 9 additional paths, and 9 new battlefields. In addition, you will immerse yourself in 13 skirmishes representing the smaller settlements and fortifications, such as the Fords of Isen and Bree. Three new factions join the fraying: the vigorous Northmen fight for the free peoples, along with the impressive Easter and cunning Ruffians allied with the Shadow.

This expansion can accommodate up to 6 players, with adaptable scenarios tailored to smaller groups. In addition, experience solo/cooperative gameplay with all new Shadow maps, seamlessly integrated with the already available Against the Shadow expansion for solo adventurers.
