I love alpine brand, and I'm glad they have those affordable speakers. Review: Fit front door on 2006 Pathfinder - I had a weird squeaking noise in the front that I couldn't figure out. I thought it was the blower fan with a bad bearing but it did it with the fan off. I thought the door panel was rubbing the foam insulation panel but that wasn't it either. Turns out the stock speakers had torn loose from the foam surround. Every little vibration in the speaker (even radio off) would amplify the rubbing sound. These were a good fit and have great sound (with a Pioneer head unit). Had to re-use the factory screws and open the plastic in the speaker trim around them so I could use a nut driver (I used a dremel with a small sanding drum). You have to be careful with speaker depth- some can interfere with the window rolling down. Haven't had that problem with these (keep the plastic riser/housing on the door and just swap the speaker). Had to cut the factory connector and add my own for the speakers.
