F1 2016 is the official game of the 2016 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and includes the full race calendar of the 2016 season with all official tracks, drivers and teams including safety car and the Hockenheimring! With the latest addition to the racing calendar, Baku in Azerbaijan, the season is already richer by the fastest road course ever. In addition, the brand new Haas F1 team celebrates its debut and adds an F1 team under purely American leadership for the first time in three decades.
F1 2016 features the most extensive career mode in the entire franchise yet, letting you immerse yourself even deeper into glamorous, exciting and prestigious motorsport. This allows you to create your own legend in a career that can run over a whole ten seasons. You choose your own avatar that not only represents you in the game world, but also choose a number that accompanies you through your career. Each team has different goals and expectations for you as a driver.
In addition, the new F1 2016 offers the thrilling drama of vehicle development behind the scenes. An extensive upgrade system for the vehicles and detailed Practice & Development Program that maps teams tests in real life is also included. Impressive retreat areas (hospitality area) for each team serve as a central point of contact. In these areas, drivers will work together with their research, development engineers and agents on their progress on and off the racetrack.

For the first time, the franchise offers an introductory round where players drive the tyres warm and experience one of the most exciting moments before the actual race start. In addition to the safety car, the new virtual safety car will also be included in the game this year. The introduction of a manual race start ensures even more excitement in the starter field. Players must press the clutch and maintain the correct RPM while waiting for the start signal. The response time is extremely important to prevent an early start or to avoid stopping in the starter field, while the anti-stall system tries to prevent stalling of the engine. Players can prove all this especially in online multiplayer with up to 22 drivers.
The first edition of F1 2016 is released as an exclusive limited edition with additional content: in addition to the main game, the DLC package "Career Booster" is included, which provides a career research and development boost, career helmet and laptop designs and a multiplayer lobby symbol in its luggage.
